By accessing or using RideTool ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

RideTool is a fitness tracking application that helps cyclists track their riding consistency. The Service connects to third-party fitness platforms (Strava, Wahoo) to import ride data and provides analytics, insights, and consistency scoring.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account by connecting via Strava, Wahoo, or email registration. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate account information
  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account

4. Subscription and Payment

RideTool offers a paid subscription service at $29/year after a 14-day free trial.

  • Payment is processed securely through Stripe
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
  • You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of your billing period
  • Refunds are provided at our discretion for unused subscription periods

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Upload malicious code or content
  • Scrape, crawl, or automatically access the Service without permission
  • Impersonate another person or entity

6. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party platforms including Strava and Wahoo. Your use of these integrations is subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by RideTool and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your personal fitness data.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

RideTool is not a medical or fitness advisory service. Consult a healthcare professional before making decisions based on fitness data or metrics provided by the Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RideTool shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RideTool and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
