The $29 is there to host your data, not to get rich. Storing years of ride files and recomputing your fitness every time a ride lands costs real money, and I'd rather you pay for that directly than pay for it some sneakier way. Every account gets everything.

Because free isn't free. When a fitness app costs nothing, the business is usually ads, upsells, or your data. I didn't want to build any of those, so RideTool has one honest price and no other revenue. You pay $29, I keep the servers running and stay out of your data. That's the whole business model, and it fits on one line.
The files are standard FIT format, so they work in Garmin Connect, TrainingPeaks, Golden Cheetah, whatever you move to. See Your Ride Files for how downloads work.
Cancel anytime from account settings, no phone call, no retention offer, no maze. You keep access until the end of the billing period. Your data stays put in case you come back, and if you want it gone for good, we'll delete the account and everything in it. Download your files first, they're yours.
I'd rather you leave easily and come back someday than feel trapped. If a tool makes quitting hard, that tells you plenty about the rest of it.
