Trails

Your loops. Your progress.

RideTool automatically discovers the routes you ride again and again. Your Tuesday night loop. Your weekend gravel out-and-back. Every repeat ride becomes a benchmark.

Auto-discovered routes

No manual segment creation. RideTool finds your repeated routes from GPS data and groups them automatically. Three rides on the same loop and it just appears.

Sector-by-sector comparison

Pick any two rides on the same trail and compare them climb by climb. See where you gained time, where you faded, and how your power held up.

It's you vs you. Compare yourself to yourself — are you faster on your own roads than last month?

FIT File Vault

Your data. Actually yours.

RideTool is optimized to automatically use the highest resolution data available. Original FIT files from your device — stored untouched, downloadable, forever.

Auto-detect & upgrade

Connect multiple sources and RideTool handles the rest. When the same ride arrives from different places, we keep the version with full device data. Duplicates are quietly resolved.

Source transparency

Every ride shows exactly where it came from — Garmin, Wahoo, or a third-party import. You always know which rides have the full-resolution original.

Most platforms consume your data. RideTool preserves it. Your FIT files are yours to download, move, or analyze with any tool you choose.

Consistency Scores

Are you showing up?

Research shows that consistency beats intensity for long-term fitness. RCS and RVS measure you against YOUR patterns — not strangers on a leaderboard.

RCS (Ride Consistency Score)

How often are you showing up, week after week? RCS doesn't care how hard you ride. It cares that you keep the habit. A casual rider with RCS 90 beats a Cat 2 racer with RCS 40.

RVS (Ride Volume Score)

Tracks your total time in the saddle relative to your baseline. Are you riding more or less than usual? RVS tells you at a glance.

Frequency matters more than duration. Three 30-minute rides beat one 2-hour ride for building lasting fitness. RCS and RVS help you build the riding habit you want.

Ride Detail

Every ride tells a story

Full route map, elevation profile, and every metric your device captured — presented clearly, not buried in a spreadsheet.

Beautiful route maps

See the actual route you rode on a detailed map. Zoom in, explore, remember why you love that trail or that climb.

All your metrics

Distance, elevation, power, heart rate, cadence, calories, TSS. Everything your device recorded, formatted and ready.

Your rides deserve better than a row in a table. RideTool shows each ride as the experience it was.

Built by a rider, for riders

I'm Kenny. Rider, coder, data nerd. Co-founded Eventador.io (acquired by Cloudera) and ObjectRocket (acquired by Rackspace). Been riding since my twenties. Never the fastest. Always out there.

I built RideTool because I wanted a simple answer to a simple question: am I riding as much as I want to?

Not performance. Not competition. Just showing up.

Just keep riding.
